For anyone in the SF area, join me this Monday February 6, 2012 at the Castro theatre to view "The Right to Love," a powerful and moving story about a gay couple and their loving children during the Proposition 8 trials. The director, Cassie Jaye, talks about her experiences during Prop 8, with an evangelical background in mind. In a recent article with the New York Times, Cynthia Nixon pretty much says being gay was her choice. I say HER not A choice as most LGBT media outlets are covering. Everyone is having an opinion about how she responded. Must we all label ourselves correctly? Did Cynthia Nixon nix the LGBT community in her response?

Today's session with Uptake (www.theuptake.org), was about creative ways to use your smartphone (Iphone and Androids are best) to capture news and create breaking news through it.

There was an explosive panel yesterday that included 4 panelists who are receiving awards for the Freedom from Fear Award. The four (Felipe, Reyna, Juan, and Tania) spoke about their personal experiences.
